we all visit a website, every now and then, so web development is pretty relevant : at the same time, most of us access the web via mobile devices, and also use quite a number of mobile applications, such as awesome Sololearn, frequently... so android development is also relevant ; so why choose one , while I can do both.... I'd do both!

@Daniel wrote: << why choose one, while I can do both... >> :D ... maybe because it require time to learn one, and much time to learn both ;) ? And everybody don't have time ( and/or capacities ) to good learn both ^^ ( why bad learn both, while i can better learn one :P ) @Sadaf: Actually I prefer web development because I have more experiement and improved skills on that so I'm much productive than on android development... But I would prefer the second one if I was less lazy and if I have more time to spent :)

not everyone gets 24 hours connection. even Flipkart are using cache to store your purchase detail and then notify you when you become online.

each thing has its purpose. it is true you can create Android apps based on web pages, you can also create an API and create native android and iOS apps. the question is never "what is better", the question is always "what do you want to accomplish"

in your country (Iran), make money by Android easier than Web. and if you know web languages(like: html, css, JavaScript), you can make Android Applications by these. I did it!

@MR Programmer that's right. But there is just one question, what is benefit of this kind of app ? I mean, if you want create a simple calculator app thats fine but what about an app that has benefit for you and your customer ? What about your app users data ? What will happen when they simply purchases a new phone ? Even Samsung Notes app has a sync button.

Mobile development undoubtedly! because of easy to use for user, instead of desktop or mobile browsers environment.
