Can I add my own tag in html?

For example, alternate capital and small word (HtMl). ( this is just example)

First up, html is case insensitive. You can write <html>, <hTmL> or anything and it won't affect the output. But you simply CAN'T use some tag which is not supported by the language itself. Even if I become the greatest programmer, I can never use <AmritJ> as a tag...😂😂😂
