Web navigation
Single page sites and multi page sites have pros and cons. Seems like scrolling down rather than clicking to a new page is a trend that has grown with the popularity of social media scrolling. What are pros and cons of single page websites?

Matthew ,in single-page websites, once the site is loaded, navigating between "sections" is almost instantaneous making it ideal for mobile users who want speed, responsiveness and fluidity in their experience.
The simplified navigation makes it especially suitable for websites with a narrow scope or a focused message (e.g., portfolios, landing pages etc.)
It keeps users on a linear journey and allow rhem ro navigate through content in a controlled manner.
It promotes a cohesive design and visual flow, enabling layouts and transitions that feel unified.
This can also potentially improve conversion rates because of the absence of distractions or multiple pages to navigate through.
These can, thus be some of the PROS of single-page websites.

Matthew , however, SEO performance is limited because all content resides on a single URL. They can only be optimized for a limited number of keywords and metadata and search engines might fail to rank them properly because of the lack to unique URLs and meta tags per topic.
Adding substantial new content can become awkward or overwhelming for users, cause scalability issues and also make it difficult to manage nad maintain. It is also harder to track user behavior per section since all interactions happen on one page.
Without proper routing, deep linking to specific contents can be quite complex. The initial load time for these pages can be considerably high sometimes which can frustrated users.
Additionally, long scrolls can become tedious or disorienting for some users.
These are thus, some potential cons of single page websites.
Hope this helps.
