Mordecai Selassie ,.for app development, you can try out Java or Kotlin for Android apps and Swift for iOS apps. Dart, with Flutter, can be used to develop apps that work both on Android and iOS platforms. You can start with C# and Unity for game development and then later use C++ and Unreal Engine for high-performance games. If you want to develop web apps or web games, you might want to use Python paired with Django (full-featured framework) or Flask(more flexible framework) in the back-end. Node.js will do if you want a JS-based back-end. Additionally, there are useful alternatives like Ruby+Rails and Java + Spring boot. Hope it helps.
