[Solved] - Lessons not accepting keyboard input

Whenever I come to a lesson question that requires you to type in the answer, it fails to accept. My virtual keyboard (tablet) pops up and instantly disappears again before I can enter anything at all. My virtual keyboard is not the issue, as I'm using it to post this question without a hint of difficulty. I can 'unlock' the answer to continue using bits, but I'm quickly drained of them and I refuse to pay for more - especially for something that should otherwise work correctly. This is my very first course! It doesn't give me confidence going forward, and I'm honestly this close to uninstalling it. Sorry to rant, it's been frustrating. Has anyone else had the problem I described and how was it resolved?

Scott M , I also use the Android app and haven't experienced that. I use Gboard, the Google virtual keyboard that came with the phone. Maybe you're not supposed to type anything but are supposed to choose from a menu of preset texts. Those are sometimes invisible off the bottom of the screen untill you swipe up.

I want to thank everyone for the help. It wasn't an issue with preset texts. I've done numerous lessons and so already aware of the need to scroll. These were text input boxes. I only have the Samsung virtual keyboard that came with my tablet. You mentioned Gboard, so I downloaded it to try and got the same results. Then in a moment of creativity, I thought to try something that ended up working. I use my tablet in landscape mode for almost everything. It makes everything appear larger to me and I don't mind scrolling. More importantly it makes the keyboard larger and more natural feeling. Anyways, switching to portrait mode did the trick. I even switched back to landscape and sure enough the problem returned. If anyone else has this problem, now you can know and share the answer or link to this question.

Scott M , Gotcha. The Android app doesn't switch to landscape on my phone, so maybe it can only do that on tablets. Will you put [Solved] in the title?
