How do I start learning how to code

I’ve been using Sololearn to learn python and it’s been kinda hard. I’m a bit young and I want to learn how to code, but scratch is easier but it’s not like I can earn money form it. So should I master scratch coding then come to python?

With python on this app a I can’t make games (which is my goal). On the other hand on scratch I can atleast make 2d games. So in this case scratch would be better. On Unity you can put in some code but I don’t think its python.

Scratch is only useful to understand some logic, I recommend you continue with python and use what you learned with scratch.

I don't know how much python you know. But if you know a decent bit you can use pygame or pgzero. These are game making libraries in python.

Python isnt really used for making games, but imo its a good starting point. C++ is hard for beginning because of the cpu thread related work you need to do in unreal engine with it. Visual studio code is something you should use because it has a lot of scripting languages supported

You can create games, not with 2D graphics, for this you need a game engine, in Unity you can use C# you can also use Godot engine, it uses GodotScript which is very similar to python.

Led Hoxha , I'm learning C++ right now, it's a bit more complicated but great for games if that's your goal, 2D & 3D. There's also a free course on diving deeper into learning C++ online I'm taking. You can use Cxxdroid to code, and it works on phones. Basically my strategy is to start with the "Hard" one, because then the rest will be easier, and because C++ just has a lot of options. Something else I'm looking into is making my own Self Hosting Programming Language. Haven't found too much on it yet but it's looking like a good option.

Виталик Савченко , I don't know the answer myself, but I think you'd have more luck finding the answer if this was it's own post. That way everyone could see it, instead of just the people already in this thread. Hope you find out soon!
