Well, I've seen users who reported bugs and it was fixed, so I guess depending on the bug, it can be fixed very fast but also late too. Furthermore I haven't seen them not answering, they do it late, but they answer (e.g. after a week).
I understand your problem, but I think the only thing we can do is to wait...

The thing about the quiz engine is that it's not a language compiler or interpreter. It can only do one thing, which is to compare your text to the author's text.

That means in the case where there might be multiple correct answers as far as the language is concerned, there can only be one right answer as far as the quiz is concerned.

So the way to not lose a heart is to guess what the author most likely thought the correct answer was.
