What is STREAK SAVER?

One day, I found out that I had a thing called Streak Saver.
I am now wondering what this is.
However, I think that it is really an alternative of doing a lesson to keep your streak

If you do not have time to do a lesson, you can press streak saver instead,and it will count your streak. If you come back the next day after pressing streak saver, you will find that your current streak is still there,waiting for you.

Streak saver helps to get back to your streak when you were not able to continue learning new lessons for a day .
