Same courses but progress is not shared?

I'm currently taking 2 courses "Introduction to HTML" and "Web Development" both share the Introduction to HTML part I'm half way in Introduction to HTML but those exact same lessons don't count as done in Web Development, is that suposed to be that way?

Yeah, they are supposed to be that way. I believe there is some talk about trying to "give credit" for completed modules/chapters. However, the current situation is set up for any beginner who starts any course. If a user only did Web Development, then all the html content is new and unique. Same for the user who only learns Introduction to HTML and so on. You'll see this content repeat in many of the Web courses. On the positive side, it's reinforcing your learning, so you'll be that much closer to an expert in those subjects!

Yes there are more than two course that their content is same but if you are taking two or three courses at the same time then the data that you have completed to the frist one will not share to the other one bcoz this app treats every course as an individual.

I believe so. Intro to HTML doesn't cover <div> tag but Web Development does cover <div> tag.

Thanks everyone for your answers. Like @Ausgrindtube said, I'll take it as a reinforcement for my learning

How is this still an issue? I get that the foundational lessons don't take very long... but it could act as disincentive, to have to waste time that could be devoted to learning something new.
