I had to make the same decisions when I started with Business Administration. So, I would say, if you're no longer passionate about it and willing to put in the time to gain coding skills, it could be a good career move.
You can decide to wait for opportunities to open up in your field of study and code in your free time. But since you don't currently have a job in your field, switching now before investing more time in that path could make sense and prevent going into debt.
Instead, you can use that time and investment in a coding bootcamp that will help you learn what's needed to make coding a career and open doors more quickly. Because, learning how to code on your own can be a long and tedious process, and you may see months and years pass without any real progress.
For more advice. I reccommend quora, that forum is more specialized for questions like these.

I have no idea about business administration.
I think if it's related to business intelligence or business analysis python is helpful for you.
