What's the benefit of being in the top three places on Saturn league's leaderboard?

Hi, I'm interested in the benefits of winning 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in the Saturn league? Up to the Saturn league, you move up to the next higher league, if you are well placed in the leaderboard. Which rankings will be promoted to a higher league until you reach the Saturn league? Does it make sense to let yourself fall back in it? You probably don't get any benefit from it, do you?
