What made you decide to learn coding beside have to take college course ?

Everybody can have a nice story to share and inspire us.. About me, I was wondering about how to make an application if needed to say specific type, Android one. When I am done with my initial resource about it, I did instantly install Android Studio. After open a new project, while playing around on software , I figured out I can not do anything without knowledge of Java and at least XML. So my first language to learn after college years was Java, and then Html and JavaScript follow it. What about you ?

I was qualified for most undergraduate courses at the time. Narrowed down the scope to electrical engineering and computer sciences. Flipped the golden coin. :>

Coding is fun, have a scope and its challenging too which make me decide to learn coding. Well I'm from electrical engineering.
