what I should do in my career

🤔 I'm feeling pretty lost right now when it comes to my career. I'm a mid-level web developer in my final year of a computer science diploma, and I'm super interested in Artificial Intelligence and Automation. 🤖 The only problem is, there's so much to learn and not enough time! My professor says that to really grow and thrive, I need to branch out and gain knowledge in other fields. While a development job might give me stability, it might not be the best way to achieve my long-term goals. 😕 I want to focus on one area, but I'm just not sure which path to take. So I'm looking for some guidance on futuristic and promising areas to explore. 🚀 If you have any advice or suggestions, I'm all ears! And if you want to check out my knowledge and participation on GitHub and LinkedIn, feel free to do so! 😎 Github: https://github.com/ParmarAayush Linkedin : https://www.linkedin.com/in/parmaraayush/

So you mentioned "your professor." Are you a computer science student at a university? Depending on your answer, here is my advice. If yes) - Take some AI related courses. If you do an Honors degree, you will be required to do more credits anyways and so can do a joint specialization with HCI and AI. If No) Time to self-learn. You can do some of this while in school as well when you have free time. You can only find your passion by trying. - Learn Python Python has great support for machine learning, with many variety of tools at hand. -> Check the following; Path finding. E.g, A* algorithm. Try to implement it. Machine learning: Check out SKLearn. See if you can find a dataset online, then try to predict something using that data with 10kfold cross validation under metrics such as acuracy/precision/recall/f2 score. [Learn about these and the various models online] - Play around with chat-gpt to get inspired. E.g., few shot learning with chat-gpt. Then data mining and unsupervised learning
