How to Squeeze A Box

Hi guys does any of you know how to squeeze a element inwards something like this

Its width or height and i don't want answer like add ::after or ::before to create a illusion of squeezing.
If I add a image in it. It should squeeze to like the shape of element it should not get clipped.
