Do I have to save programme written in notepad++ in a specific location?
I then opened cmd and wrote javac C:\programme files\(x86)\notepad++\ExampleProgram.java then I pressed enter and it said the following... javac: file not found usage: javac <options > <source files > can someone please help with this problem

Is your java file in a folder with spaces in the folder name?

@Marco Neumann yes the java file is in Program Files folder
