I think I understand what you mean "You want to learn a programming language with which you can make your own game". So first question would be which kind of Game Web or software Games? For Web Games does SL have a own Game development course with the language Js (Java Script). When you want to make Games in Form of Software the Programming languages C# and C++ would be the recommendet Option. C#: -Universal language (Can be used in multiple areas) -Good to learn (at least more easy than C++) C++: -More advanced in Game development -large Community (Many ppl who can help you with your Games) Game engines: When you want to use Unity the better Option is C# and for Unreal C++. I had a topic about Game development before there can you see more options and other Game Dev related talk: https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/3054727/?ref=app The JS Development course's Here: https://www.sololearn.com/Course/GameDev-with-JavaScript/?ref=app I hope that can help and you can understand everything 😉

Sebastian Ramirez Uribe That's what most of the ppl say I never used c++ I can't promise it. But it won't be a Problem if you go for c# because the Switch from them won't be that big and you will learn the Basic Syntax with both. I would recommend you to first learn the basics and then look which game engine you rather use Unity c# and Unreal C++, or when you want to make your own c++. I hope for your best luck with learning. 😉
