Can someone help me make scoring system using python

Question

Hey, I’m new at programming and I was tasked to make a scoring system for any quiz using python could someone help me? I need to have 4 teams and each team should have 5 members and each team will compete 5 events and it should have sporting type to academic quizzes and over all it should be able to store points and be able to put which team came first and came last. So, I really need help as this is my first programming and I never done this type of task before.
