(Unanswered yet..) What exactly are deprecated tags and attributes in HTML5?

I may find the answer on the web.....but I see that each source tells the difference!

For example:

So, which source does have the most accurate answer (in your opinion)?

Oh sorry, seems that I shouldn't have mentioned the example....I mean in general (web), not to choose between both links
