Can SoloLearn be considered a competitive programming platform?

For me it's not but I'm sure it can be competitive for some people if they are trying to be at the top of a leaderboard, getting code of the day, high level, get all the achievements, etc ...

It's for all kinds. You can be competitive if you want to, but our community is beginner-friendly. Nobody gets penalised in any form for low XP gain. A bronze member can be more proficient than a gold member, a short code can gain more upvotes than a long code, and everyone knows that.

I'm not sure if it's competitive but at least it motivates to learn, having a community to share about it (personnal opinion)

depends ... i think it has lot of limitation for it to be competitive. the biggest improvement could be to be able to collabarate between programmers
