The Agile method at work

For people who knows what is Agile method, do you guys appreciate the agile method in your work? Do you think that's really an advantage?

I think if you really follow one of the agile methods it can be a big advantage. The problem for me is that managers tend to mix up agile processing with 'I want it all and I want it now' and think that's what agile methods are about.

It has benefits on the developers sides, too. Usually they are happy if the customer likes their code ^^ Agile methods mention to have customer's feedback for every milestone, so the developer knows early on if their implementing the stuff the way the customer wants it. Better than developing over a year only to notice after this period that the customer or your manager didn't describe properly what they wanted...

When you talk about one of the agile method, which are them? I'm a little bit fall inside without know that system before. I 'm discovering it and feel that's really not working where I am... but I have see this system recommendes by many so I wonder... How?!

oh great answer. That's interesting Tashi. I also have similar problem on my side, I guess Agile method is benefic if "reactivity" is in the middle of the whole team... not really what I'm experimenting, that must be why I feel that this method is only pain...

I see what you mean so that's really an organisation failure on my side. Firstly I'm developping alone, secundly I hate client relationship, thirdly I manage multi projects at the same time...
