Why is hardly anyone using kotlin?

In short, what do you think about kotlin? and why hardly anyone uses it?

Its because KOTLIN language is new to the world.
It takes time to become popular.
Java programming is an older language and its still used by Maximum industries from so many years, so they can't shift quickly.
Also the programmers are more comfortable with JAVA as its more familiar to them.
Later On Kotlin will rise too. (same as python)
