Martin Taylor so sorry. I am new to coding and have not yet become used to commenting
In the next code I deleted unused variables, added comments as best as I could . Please guide me if you believe any better comments could be added

Martin Taylor also sorry for not breaking it up into multiple functions, I intended the code to be straightforward and didn't realize it would be better if it was broken up if I messed up and had to ask a doubt
