How do I get more bits?

Question

I am doing the Python Core course, and it isn't letting me advance to the next lessons unless I do the practice, but I can't do the practice unless I either go pro (which I don't want to) or spend my bits, but I get less bits per lesson than I use up to do the practice, so now I can't do the practice, and it's not letting me continue the course unless I do the practice, so how do I get more bits? Or is there a way to continue the course anyway, that I am unaware of? Please help, thank you.
