Difference in what context?
Difference between forwardslash (/) and backslash (\) in FILE & URL path.

the difference is that Unix based OS use (/) for their system path like MacOs , Linux Distros , OpenBSD ,....
While windows and MS-DOS OS use (\) for their system path
so if you use \ in MacOs for path you'll get an error and visa-versa
