Question

I've been kind of down low on the whole programming thing, and it's been somewhat tedious and boring for me. Why should I continue to learn, and what do you think are ways I could improve my overall experience? In other words, how can I get back into the game?

Practice and lots of practice. Rome was not built in one day.

You need an end goal in mind. Whenever I learn a new language its not because I want to lean the language, its because I want to make something with it.

Think of program you want to make, then break it up into simple pieces and learn to program those little pieces keeping your end goal in mind.

Before you know it you have made a program, then you can call yourself a programmer.
