Python Shell help

Question

Problem moving to next line of code.
I am trying to get to the next lines of code in my Python Shell in Windows 10. Obviously when you hit enter the programme runs.
I read Alt + j or Sft + Enter to a new line but it's not working.
I have had some strange stuff on pc since a new cpu maybe my keyboard driver.
I'm going to try this but any ideas are helpfull.
