Any one could tell me why he or she wants to learn Coding(programming)?

I like to create small programs to do some tasks faster than doing them manually. I know there are plenty of programs to do those tasks, but most of them are bloated with unnecessary functions which make them hard to understand. sometimes there aren't any programs which fulfill my needs exactly or I have to configure them over hours to do what I want them to do, so it's easier and faster to program my own applications.
most programs I wrote so far are for my work. for example our finance department has a program which reads csv files. they don't want to write the csv on their own, because they already have excel sheets with the data they need. so I wrote a program to convert the excel sheets to the needed csv with the additionally required data to be computed by their software. it saves them hours of time of work each week.

Firstly, to gain practical knowledge in my Subject Information Technology as there we have to do coding.
Secondly, my aim is to become software developer. So it will be better if I know basics already.
