In Russia today need much more php coder than other coder, because i think that php live very long! Remember that on php build almost all CMS and CMF, and more milions internet-projects built on php.

I don't think so, PHP is still a big player on web based application. It's still used by more than 80% website on internet ( source: https://w3techs.com/ ). Big sites using PHP: 1. Facebook 2. Yahoo 3. Wikipedia 4. Wordpress And you need to count the number of website which use cpanel based hosting, we can say almost all of them use PHP.

@K............... you are right. In India also many demands for PHP instead of JSP,ASP and even Node.js . This all due to advantage of PHP. Sorry but I doesn't know how to write you name.

Here in Germany PHP is very popular. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist but I haven't seen any Node.js jobs. Usually PHP. Rarely Java or C#. Very rarely Django or Rails.

Probably the forum referring to Node.js as it is substitute to PHP. If you are beginners you can learn Node.js instead as it is avantegous.

It depends upon a country. If you are living in India then PHP can help you get web developer job very quickly. It is not a dying language, though there are lots of other options available.
