Learning Code

How long does it take to become proficient in one major programming language? Also, how quickly can you learn all of the necessary languages to become a software engineer? Also, how many should someone know in order to get a job? I know one fairly well & have dabbled with a few others but, I feel as though it’s impossible to know everything about many of the languages I am learning. Can you just be really good in one & still get a good job?

what is your take on coding bootcamps or even junior software engineer positions? i was under the impression that a junior dev is the same as a junior software engineer. i see lots of videos on people entering bootcamps & even learning on their own after that to acquire a junior software engineer job all within 6 months to 1 year.
