Are you asking because you are thinking of what to learn? Let's just say it is a bad idea to make that decision on what people like.

I prefer to choose a technology based on what I want to do with it. Swift is a beautiful language but it may not be very useful in making Android apps. PHP 8 syntax is mind blowing but I don't see myself using it for desktop GUI applications.

My best languages are not even on this list but having used 4 out of 5 (except Swift), here is my take on these languages.

Python syntax is concise but it misses many important features like switch statements, null safety and private fields for objects. I recently started data science using pandas and seaborn and it is cool. It seems that is what Python is good for.

Java is a very verbose language. It is stressful to write but the JVM is super. You are better off using Clojure or Kotlin that taps into the power of the JVM.

Part 2

PHP is my favorite of these 5 languages. It is so much fun to write PHP 8 released 2 days ago. It has everything you desire in a multi paradigm language designed specifically for backend web development and CLI apps. The experience might not be great in areas like data science and visualisation.

I started learning C# just a few weeks ago. So far it has been great but I can't really give professional advice on C#.
