What are some of the benefits of using TAILS?

Unless they were like an FBI agent or something, would there be any benefit for someone who is careful and already uses Linux to use TAILS?

Slick I have tried it lol. If you want to be more anonymous online, you can just use tor browser. Which coincidentallyis how you can access the dark web on any other system. I think tails is cool, and I will probably use it for some things, but I dont really see the nessesity of it.

Please do ANY amount of research before asking. Tor is the only browser in tails buddy. And also adds extra anonymity on top of that, like non-persistent storage, and MAC address swapping. But you go ahead and do your thing since you know

Slick I have done a lot of research. If you had done more research, you would know that tor is not the only browser on tails; it has an “unsafe browser” with the intent of only being used to log into captive portals. I have used tails multiple times and have read the entire documentation. I know there are a large number anonyminity features, but what I am asking is why would an average person would ever need it.

Of course you have, that's why you couldn't just come to a conclusion, right? Anyways, if you answer "no" to the question: "Are you cool with someone watching you while you sleep?" then tails is for you. If you don't mind whatever you're doing on your computer being saved as a "profile" of you on several different data servers, google for instance, then go ahead my guy. Data is the most valuble thing you have nowadays, don't just give it away.
