what's file and the usage of it in real world project

in c and cpp files are used to store data or for managing database, because u can't see the previous output of your program, every time program executes and the output is generated but it is not retrieved further.

File is a group of bytes wich is saved in a directory...

It is the most important part of project, No file means no project, no programs, no data, no OS(Windows, linux, etc), and computer is nothing, except a rubbish...
no file means computer can't store data and it means no commands, can't do anything, so why I say it like rubbish without files...

Files used in c and c++ for read data from files or write data in files. Store more data and display it.
