How could i edit the codes for example changing API codes then apply it to my Application? Do i need to delete the old API code?

Can i just make an extra API file to my code? And also about hosting what do i need to change?

Of course you can make any numbers of additional API files and use all of them. You can even modify any other API. But be careful using modified API due to compatibility
