▶️Visual Studio is need to be installed . ▶️You can browse and install extensions from within VS Code. Bring up the Extensions view by clicking on the Extensions icon in the Activity Bar on the side of VS Code ▶️Even though you are secondary school student , you can learn programming . All you need is dedicated hours on learning it

Anisha Arora, it feels nice to make progress in learning. Sololearn is a great plate form for learning c#. Once u complete the c# course in here, you can learn more from c#corner site. Here is a thing, once you complete the course over here, then text me and I will do let you know more about exploring c# and all.

You can download Visual Studio or Code Blocks for that.

Okay Sis , I suggest you to learn Java first because I'm also in 9 and I had learned Java much easier than C#

Curiosity leads to learning something new. @Anisha Arora, your question represents your curiosity for learning a programming language. It's very nice. I have a friend who started his programming career when he was in 6th. So, if you want to learn C# or Java in class 9th, then u can learn the basics of it easily if you have a big amount of interest in that field. But, if you do not have any pre-programming experience then I suggest you start with the C Programming language. Because it is the base of programming and it will help you to learn the new concepts of Programming :-) This was just a suggestion. Now, in order to install Java, you need JDK (Java development kit) and Eclipse (an IDE) for Java programming. You can also start with BlueJ (another educational Java IDE). For C#, I use online compilers (Like; sololearn's compiler) for basic codes. And for my local device, I use Notepad++ to code and I have installed a Notepad++ plugin for C#. Best of luck for your programming career and happy coding ;-))

You should learn c# as because it solves a lot of problems that java have and you have to install visual studio in order to develop a c# application. I know there are other ways too. But this one is the easiest one.

C# uses the dotNet run time which will already be on any windows device however the easiest way to start playing with c# is to simply download and install Visual Studio community. It is completely free and you will not have to worry about working with the command prompt to compile and run your code.
