Icon/Logo next to URL

How can I Add a icon or Logo (Like the google g) next to my URL?

Create an Icon image (.ico), preferably 16x16 or 32x32. Save it as "favicon.ico" and place the image in your root folder, along with your index.htlm file.
Inside the head tags of your index.html place the following;
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="favicon.ico" />

Try using the full URL in the href of the link tag.
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="http://www.your.url/favicon.ico" />
