Why CSS GRID property is not working??

CSS grid property is not working.
Correct me if my code is wrong or something else happen.

It's working fine ,you are applying grid template columns and rows to only two lines ,100px 100px makes two row height to be 100px and 50px 50px makes two columns width to be 50px

First specify that what format do you want.
3*2, 2*3, 1*2*2*1,

It is working well according to your input.
