Should I learn more than 1 game engine?

I've been learning Unity recently, and I don't know whether continue or learn a new game engine. I did a research on internet and it seems game developers usually use only 1 game engine for all.

{2} Most importantly once you know how to use or you've mastered a game engine very nicely then I'm sure you will find other game engines very easy to learn and you won't take long time to learn them. However, if you have a lot of times then it's good to have knowledge of different platforms(game engines) in your portfolio. (this is my opinion) 😉

{1} CarrieForle Believe me or not, the concepts for making any games in any Game engine is always the same. (Some examples - basic camera perspective setting, how to add sprites or how to do animations with sprites, rigging a 2d/3d characters, basic (x, y, z) axis for players and what not etc etc - concepts remains the same but the only difference would be game engine's UI). So it's good knowing to make games using multiple game engines but you won't achieved mastery or to be precise you won't be feeling very comfortable doing something difficult XYZ things. On the otherhand, if you continue and keep learning one game engine, first of all you'll surely be very good and very comfortable in doing/achieving/implementing difficult tasks, secondly it will be like second nature to you and also you won't waste a lot of your precious times in switching different game engines(which I think is useless).

same as why most of people type more comfortably with QWERTY insteas of DVORAK. they used to it. you can learn more than one if you want, but being comfortable with your enviroment definitely more efficient than switching to alternatives

I think first you should learn Unity game engine completely. Unity is very best and popular game engine. Try to make challenging games in Unity. However if u wanna learn some basics of other game engine u can.
