Why do we not get xp points for answers?

It would be great if we could get xp points based on tags and likes. For example: Asker added tags "php" and "html" to his question. Your answer got 5 likes. So you get 5 xp at php and html. What do you think about it?

Good question @Hatsy Rei. I think the mechanism I described should be applied to questions with at least 2 likes to avoid unfair cases. Or experienced users could be moderators to be able to change tags of the questions.

What if I asked a php question and tagged all languages? Do you equally embrace the idea of getting -XP for dislikes?

Considering the amount of junk already available in the Q&A section, I guess this would quickly degrade further the forum.
