Java or web development?????

If i wanna select any one between web development n java to study so that it wl be helpful for my placements which one I can prefer pls help me I m so confused...

If you plan to become a web developer you should learn web development and if you want to create applications like Android apps you should learn Java. Of course if you have the time and the motivation you should learn both, because the more languages you know the better. And for your placements, if your study is very popular you should do a lot of outside school things and not just learn a programming language.
