if you tries to explore the project section in your profile, you will find a "manage" (at top-right) option on clicking on that you can add more code to your projects.
You can also includes code from other source like github.

Edit code and save it again.. It will added to projects.. But am not sure, how many frequent edits need to be there for long or which algarithm SoloLearn using for projects to select..
Public only is not the criteria...
