If you are expecting many upvotes from people then you will have to prove yourself!
Make something new and big! Making squares of '*' will not do🤔🙁
Please don't take it negatively, it's good to post codes! But at the beginning you can't expect upvotes! It comes gradually. If you see even my old codes are having very less views and upvotes, but then people got aware about me, and I got recognition and appreciation!
Similarly, you also have to keep on making codes without caring about the upvotes!

Get into the group of people that manipulate voting or follow each other ,but if you really wanna make good audience ,post good codes as Namit already said ,help others with their queries,appreciate the good codes posted in code section
