I need help with java and backend developing.

Question

I'm a beginner wanting to become a backend developer my plans so far is to hop into java and a server language is there any sites or books that you guys would recommend. Or a friend who can work with me with future questions or understanding to a problem. I'm coming in with no prior experience.
