Not necessarily, html is case insensitive, i.e. capital or small letters don't make a difference.

James Nduka Any case works well. But recommend in small letters. It's looks good .

The tag names themselves should be in lowercase. Attribute names are also lowercase. The content between two tags can be in capital letters, if it's indicated by its type (e.g. headings are often in capital letters). But that completely depends on what you like and has nothing to do with any convention.
