Is Eclipse IDE good for java graphics / animations?

Hey, guys! I have a little question about java. Is Eclipse IDE a good platform to use for graphics or animations?

Your opinion is more important than everyone else's. You need to like your tools and, while they are similar, some will work better for you than they would for others. Android Studio is not intuitive for me. IntelliJ and Eclipse both were, but IntelliJ worked easier. Spend a day or more using each and pick based on how it worked for you.

I'm not the frontend person, but as far as I know, eclipse would be one of the last choices. I like eclipse for my stuff, but the frontend guys did show me some much more comfortable features for GUI development in NetBeans and I'm quite sure that even IntelliJ supports that stuff a little bit better.
