Game development?

ok so I want to be a game developer .. I'm taking programming in school and we have already done stuff like loops..arrays...etc... mostly webpages stuff...would this app help me with that? where should I look? help?

You sound like you know enough to make text based games already. if you want to do 2d android games I would look up libgdx tutorials its a great library and runs smoothly on android. If I remember correctly there is a guy on youtube who does java tutorials on libgdx I think his name is eddie vanhalen, though I am probably way off on the spelling.

Yes this app will help with basics, as for game development, what it entails depends on the games you want to create?

@Liam Keegan I honestly want to start with basic games really to see how they work ... but what I really want to do as a career is do things such as what blizzard does..if it makes any sense..so basic as in like tap to click (maybe mobile games) to start sorry if I sound convoluted

If it is libgdx you are referring to it is a java library for building Android games, its basically a game engine, https://libgdx.badlogicgames.com

I looked up libgdx in the appstore and what came up was a textbook for 20$ or an app called code labs
