An analogy to your question that you may want to consider would be, a person asking if a household toolkit is enough to fix a car. This very much depends on what problems you are facing, and what degree of damage sustained by the car we are talking about. If you are just trying to learn how to fix a car, one toolkit should suffice. If we are talking about an entire roof or the engine missing, that is another story.

Likewise, ethical hacking on itself is already a wide field which may, depending on circumstances and your objective, involve any programming language. Is Python alone enough for you, as a learner who has just begun your journey? Yes, most likely. Is Python alone enough to handle the entirety of tasks involved in hacking, as you further your knowledge in this field? Unlikely. What I suggest is you focus on building your foundation and master Python, instead of trying to run before you learn how to walk.

I would start with the language you knows at best and see how far it brings you.

Then you can choose another language. C or C++.

You need to learn shell scripting and as many as possible learn programming languages for better results in ethical hacking . I am also ethical hacker and i learn many programming languages and also you need to learn PHP Javascript MySQL database and all . Ethical hacking is not easy it requires a lot of Knowledge

Short Answer: Only Python is not enough for Ethical hacking and penetration testing. Because the victim machines would have been coded with any programming languages. So, it would be better if you learn many languages. ;)

You have you to learn as per your target machine requirements, like if you want to havk into linux machine learning pf html is not useful or if you want to penetrate a webpage bash scripting wont help so you need to take a look at your target. As per me the more you know the better you go. I also want to see my future in the same field, lets be in touch.
