Want to get into Java, where to start?

Main goal would be Android development. Starting from scratch. Where should I begin in most time efficient way to get there? Java, or JS? Thanks in advance.

Start from taking crash courses on cousera, audacity, treehouse . These online channels are packed with tons of resources especially for beginners and newbies.

Have you looked at Android Studio yet? Also, JavaScript is most often used for web programming; so I would suggest learning Java. However, there is an interesting phone app called DroidScript that you might be interested in checking out.
