Where to learn z/OS and how difficult?

Hey guys! I want to know more about the IBM product, but it’s hard to find good material. I’ve read it’s an advantage to know a bit about COBOL and Assembler, which i do not😅 Does anybody have some tips or good material on this subject? Thanks

The IBM z/OS is a deep subject and can be a bit obscure. It completely depends on what you’re hoping to do with such knowledge. Application development, infrastructure support? Also, Although COBOL is probably one of the most popular IBM programming languages used, it is not the only one. A couple others are FOCUS and Pacbase, but there are more. You could look thru these to see if you can find what you are looking for. http://www.mainframes.com/Manuals.html https://www.ibm.com/it-infrastructure/z/zos
