Question and my answer disappear..?

Seconds after I answered an (unanswered) question (on C++ linked lists) the question and answer disappeared!

The question was possibly (now I suspect probably!) an assignment. I was quite surprised by the sudden disappearance but I now that I had time to think about it I suspect it was intentional.

It seems when a question is deleted all the answers are deleted with the question, or at least that is what happened in this case. This allows cheaters to pose questions and get "easy" answers (especially on an educational site like this) , which they can quickly delete to cover all their tracks (thanks to Sololearn's notification system).

I now suspect that the very speedy removal is proof that the OP was intending to remove the question (and any answers) to avoid anyone or any tool from being able to proof that his submitted assignment was copied from the internet.

I think Sololearn should not allow the OP who posed the question to remove the answers with the question. If you pose a question and someone takes the trouble to answer it, you should not have the right to delete the answer.

SoloLearn, please fix this!

I sometime delete a question if I found the answer on particular topic but I thing as @Tashy said there should be question has been answered option, so no one has to delete question.

In my opinion, solved questions should be archived. There might be others with similar doubts that can take advantage of answers already provided.
Unanswered questions should be able to be deleted, though.
