How AccessKey provide shortcut key to activate an element?

add an attribute accesskey
ex. accesskey="c"
the keyboard binding kinda different on different browsers. some are using alt, some may alt+shift, etc etc. not sure if its even work in mobile browsers.

the main concern for using this its possibly interrupt with browsers actual shortcut, and also how to educate the user to use access key since you know different browsers could have different key press.
